Looking your best means feeling good not only on the inside but on the outside as well!
Looking my best starts with a hot shower, close shave, and a fresh haircut and ends with a sharp navy suit, crisp white dress shirt, and a purple paisley bow-tie.
I have the privilege of working in a professional office environment and love that I get to wear a suit everyday. Looking my best and feeling my best go hand-in-hand.
After years of trying different color shirts I’ve switched to all white – boring? No just crisp.
I believe lookingyour best requires getting enough sleep.
Looking your best comes easily when you’re organized, not rushed, and know what’s expected in a situation – and then choose how to handle expectations. A t-shirt can look perfectly put together if it’s well fitted, matched with dark jeans and sharp shoes, and worn with confidence.
Looking your best is about feeling and being confident.
No matter what the man is wearing or what he physically looks like, if he doesn’t believe in himself or have attitude of being certain and self-assured, then how could he look his best?
The bow ties, the well-groomed hair, and the tailored suit will all be one-dimensional if the man behind it can’t back it up. By standing by yourself with reassurance; no matter what you wear or who you are, you will look your best with confidence.
Looking your best, to me, is not about the clothes you wear, the products in your hair, or the shoes on your feet (although those are incredibly important) but the way that you wear them. It takes no effort to walk into Brooks Brothers pick up an 1818 suit and a few slim fit OCBD’s walk next store to the Allen Edmonds store and pick up a pair of Walnut McCallisters. Anyone can buy nice clothing. But understanding how to put those pieces of clothing together, how best to complement the different shades, textures, skin tones, and even level of confidence, with the different things you put on your body, that to me is looking your best is. That being said, those Walnut McCallisters never hurt anyone.
I think looking your best is achieving that perfect balance between social convention and originality that allows who you are to shine through every aspect of your appearance. The point of being well dressed or groomed is to remove all the attention those distinct factors might, if done poorly or too brazenly, draw to themselves and instead redirect that focus on the complete individual – allowing that individual’s appeal to transcend the mere sum of his grooming and attire.
The way that you look and the way that you act determines what people think about you
Looking your best is essentially feeling your best – there is something to be said about a man when he feels and exudes his inner confidence on the outside … whether it is a nice, new haircut, a perfectly fitted suit, or just an heir about him.
Looking your best means looking well rested, wearing clean clothes appropriate for the occasion (clothes that fit mind you), and not looking like a disheveled mountain man. Get some sleep, trim the beard, don’t bury yourself in fabric, and the rest will follow.
I want to look my best when I go for a job interview!
Looking your best often times has nothing to do with what you are wearing but rather how you are feeling. When you are confident in your looks, your whole demeanor changes for the better. Self-confidence and smile are often better looking than any clothes.
Thanks to everyone for the great comments and thoughtful insight on what looking your best means to you. All of the comments were insightful and say a lot about OTC’s outstanding readers. None the less, we can only pick one!
A lot of you noted that the man behind the clothes matters far more than the clothes themselves, and we felt the “Logan L.” best hit the mark in his observation.

So, congratulations to “Logan L.”, you just won a Braun Series 5 electric shaver!
i would say that braun puts in much effort to promote its name, while panasonic really doesnt do that much. at the same time this is the only flaw that panasonic shavers really have. id buy that one.
The company who started this campaign eventually became the
world’s largest soap company. There are two ways to go about this, firstly, change your diet and secondly use some natural products that help adjust your sugar levels without the side effects. Keeping this craze in mind companies are opening outlets in different parts of the world.
Does this year have some campaign like this? I’m looking for a new electric shaver and Braun is my favorite brand.
This might be super cool. I’ve been looking through the bunch on-line and
really loved this excellent version.
